Ever since my wallet fell apart (the covered hardware on my Bal fell off, see here), I was okay with it for a while even with the 2 tone hardware – until the actual buckles fell off. I have been finding a replacement since then. Well, the wait is finally over! So happy to have my new (and very first) Bottega Checkbook wallet 
and in green too!

After my bday NG purchase, I put myself on a 6 month bag ban. Guess what! The 6 months is almost over so I’ve started the search for my next bag. I’ve narrowed it to a couple of choices and was hoping you ladies can help me make a decision.
A few months ago, I posted an NG bag that I saw on bagsnob.com. Its a tan python hobo. I have to say that I’m still in love with that bag. For the past couple of days, I’ve contacted Bergdorf and Saks trying to find out when it is coming in…they said sometime in March.

Then I found these VBH lovies. I actually went to the VBH store a couple of months ago and it is an amazing store. I fell in love with their Nomad and Napsac styles. Guess what else, you can custom make your bag! Choose the style, leather type (exotics include ostrich, croc, and python) and color. *sigh* Below is the Nomad style in python.

Both are roughly the same price (the VBH is a bit more $$$). As you can see, I have my heart set on python. So, should I go with the NG bag in tan or custom make a VBH nomad. If so, what color should I choose?? (the color in the photo is gorgeous)

Last December, I was able to get my little girl her first real bag (which she will use when she is older): The Longchamp Planetes (which is only 7″x6″x4″ I couldn’t resist, it was too cute):
I really think that Longchamp’s Le Pliage line is really the most versatile and classic. Can’t wait til my little girl can carry her bag!
I’m not going to lie anymore and pretend I’m not going to buy anymore shoes. I just don’t have the willpower when faced with 50% off discounts. I should have known better than to hop over to the Manolo Blahnik sale ”just to look”. I tried on 2 pairs of shoes, one pair of sensible work pumps and a pair of black gladiator heels. I tried them on and because I felt so guilty of all my shoe purchases, I just bought the work pumps. (One can always use a sensible pair of work shoes!) For 2 days after, all I thought about were the gladiator heels. So I went back yesterday and got them. I figured it can’t be considered an impulse buy if I thought about it for a couple of days. hehe. Now, I need the weather to get a bit warmer so I can break out my new shoes!

Like ICB, I’ve been on a shoe kick. I thought those depression shoes were the last I was going to buy for the year but alas, the sales got me and I succumbed to another pair. I was eyeing this pair for a few months (since I saw them on Gossip Girl) and sure enough, they eventually went on sale. Say hello to my python peep toe booties. Okay, I’ve been obsessing on how to take a better picture of my thong sandals – this is a better shot…
Just realized that I have been going on a shoe thing the past 2 weeks. Bought these two pairs of platform sandals from T bags (local company in Manila). They are extremely comfortable – I originally bought the yellow one because it was labeled a mustard color and thought I should have a yellow shoe (like my Massai) but actually, it is more on the lime-ish side :
And because I loved how comfy they were (and how tall it made me) I got the Olive-brown ones as well (not painful on the pocket at all AND feet – no typical ’so painful cheaper shoes feeling’ very comfortable).
Then today, I went to the gym only to find out I left my shoes. Shang Mall is literally across my gym, so I decided to go buy new running shoes, I had been meaning to replace my shoes anyway (yes NZA, I have finally been running again, indoors and outdoors the past month now – yay for me!) Got myself a pair of the Nike Lunar Glides:
On my way out, I cut through Rustans and for the first time in my life actually stopped and looked at crocs (I have a thing – you DO NOT wear crocs if you are over 5 years old. I have been nagging my dad to stop wearing his crocs for maybe a year now. Last week, I bought him a new pair of loafers just so he would stop wearing them). Well, hypocrite me – I actually got myself a pair of crocs (but don’t tell my dad, besides he won’t figure out they’re crocs anyway ).
And OMG, can I just say, he was right, they REALLY ARE that comfortable!
So today, I decided to take advantage of discounted Christmas decor for next year. Since I was in the area, I decided to check out the sales as well 
I was pretty good. I was able to resist another pair of shoes (like I need another pair of shoes) but what I was not able to resist was this cute clutch. YSL is having a pretty decent sale. I think this clutch was around 50% off. The picture is a bit deceiving..it appears black but its more grayish. Its a pretty decent size – not oversized but maybe the size of the Balenciaga envelope clutch. Maybe she’ll make her debut on NYE!

There was another color, like a mustard version and the stones were more yellow – very nice too but we thought that I’d get more mileage with a subdued color Love ‘em! So happy

So, I’ve been on the lookout for a fur vest. I finally found a couple and I’ve bought both and now I’m deciding which to keep. Please help me decide. They are almost exactly the same (same brand) except one is dark brown and the other is black. Note, the dark brown is also a couple of inches longer than the black one. Given that, the dark brown hits me at the hip, while the black hits me at the waist. Here are the photos of what I got:
